Ingredients:

  • Flour 200 gm
  • Edible gum 75 gm
  • Almond slice 1/2 cup
  • Pistachio slice 1/2 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Ghee 200 gm'
  • Jaggery 250 gm
  • Poppy seeds 4 tbsp
  • Grated coconut 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee and fry edible gum.
  2. When it swells, remove from stove, cool it and crush it.
  3. Now heat remaining ghee in this pan and fry flour for 10 minutes.
  4. When aroma comes, put poppy seeds, cardamom powder, almond and pistachio and mix it.
  5. Then remove from stove, put crushed edible gum and jaggery, mix it and cook again for 2 minutes.
  6. Then put on greased thali, cut into pieces and serve.

Gur Papdi is sweet dish. It is Memoni, Pakistani dish. It is eaten in winter season. It is prepared with flour, jaggery and edible gum. You can make it at home.
