Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Roasted whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Kashmiri chilies 6
  • Roasted cardamom 4
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 4
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Oil as required
  • Water 4 glass

Method:

  1. Heat water in pan, put Kashmiri chilies, cumin, black peppercorns, coriander and cardamom and cook it.
  2. When all ingredients are soft, cool it.
  3. Put tomatoes, yogurt and fried onion in blender and grind it.
  4. Heat oil in other pan, put masala and roast it nicely.
  5. Now put chicken and roast it.
  6. When roasted, put water and cook on low flame.
  7. When chicken tender, close stove.
  8. Sprinkle coriander leaves and green chilies and serve.

Murgh Shorba is tasty & little bit spicy dish. Kashmiri chilies is added in this recipe. Served with raita or naan.
