Singaporean Rice Recipe

Singaporean Rice is very popular rice dish in Karachi. You must try this recipe at home.
Ingredients:
For Chicken:
- Chicken boneless cubes 1/2 kg
- Spaghetti 500 gm
- Chili sauce 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
- Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Crushed ginger 1 tbsp
- Onion cubes 1
- Carrots julienne 2
- Capsicum cubes 2
- Cabbage chopped 1
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Oil 1/2 cup
For Rice:
- Rice soaked 375 gm
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Star anise 2
- Oil 1/4 cup
- Salt to taste
For Mayo Sauce:
- Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
- Ketchup 4 tbsp
- Vinegar 2 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
For Garnish:
- Garlic cloves 1
- Green chilies 7
Direction:
- For chicken: First boil spaghetti in salted water until done.
- Then remove from stove, rinse with cold water and put little oil in it.
- Then heat oil in pan and saute ginger.
- Then put chicken and fry for 1 minute.
- Then add red chilies, chili sauce and soya sauce and fry more for 1 minute.
- Then add onion, carrots, capsicum, cabbage and little water and cook it.
- When water boils, put dissolved corn flour and cook for 5 minutes.
- Then add boiled spaghetti and mix it.
- Then remove from stove and keep it aside.
- For rice: Put oil, cumin seeds and star anise and fry it.
- Then add rice, salt and water and cook until rice is cooked.
- For mayo sauce: Put all ingredients in bowl and mix it nicely.
- For garnish: Heat oil in pan and fry garlic and green chilies until garlic in golden brown.
- For assemble: Put rice in dish.
- Then put mayo sauce.
- Then put fried vegetables and chicken mixture.
- Then put fried garlic and green chilies and serve.
Singaporean Rice is tasty dish. Chicken is fried, cooked with vegetables and mixed with boiled spaghetti. Then boiled rice is kept in dish. Then topped with mayo sauce and chicken vegetable mixture. Then garnished with fried garlic & green chilies and served.
