Ingredients:
- 300g glutinous rice flour
- 450g red bean mash
- 113g brown sugar, grated
- 75g white sesame seeds (washed and dried)
- 1/2 tbsp lard, or peanut oil
- 1 cup water
Method:
- Put glutinous rice flour in a deep tray. Bring water and brown sugar to the boil. Fold into glutinous rice flour.
- Stir well. Cover for a while. Then add oil. Knead into dough. Knead into long strips. Dice. Coat with sesame seed. Work into ball shape and press flat.
- Put in a suitable amount of red bean mash. Fold up and seal firmly. Heat 1/2 wok of oil. Lower heat. Add dumplings.
- Deep fry until they float on the surface.
- Then turn to medium heat. Deep fry until golden. Dish up. Use oil absorbing paper to absorb excess oil.
