Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Brown onion 1 cup

For Whole Garam Masala:

  • Green cardamom 8-10
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Black cardamom 3
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Clove 6
  • Bay leaf 2
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Rice 750 gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Yellow food color 1/4 tsp
  • Lukewarm water 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Small green chillies 12-15
  • Raita for serving
  • Salad for serving
