Ingredients:

  • White flour 1/2 kg
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Yeast 1-1/2 sachet
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First put yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and mix it until sugar and yeast are mixed well.
  2. Then keep for rise. Now put white flour, add salt and baking powder and knead it.
  3. Then put in a mixing bowl, cover with plastic and leave for 3-4 hours in warm place.
  4. After that, fold dough with hands, make small small portions and roll like thick roti.
  5. Now grease oven tray with oil, set roti on tray and bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  6. Pita bread is ready.
