Spicy Daal Palak by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Yellow lentils 1 cup
  • Red lentils 1 cup
  • Spinach 1 bunch
  • Green chilies 6
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cream 1/2 cup
  • Tomato 250 gm

For Tarka:

  • Curry leaves 10
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Garlic cloves 10
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Wash yellow lentils, red lentils and spinach and cook on low flame.
  2. When it is tendered, put red chili powder, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and tomato and strangulate it nicely.
  3. Now put chopped green chilies.
  4. After that, close stove and add cream.
  5. Then heat oil and do onion brown.
  6. Now put curry leaves and garlic cloves.
  7. In end, put tarka on daal palak and serve.
