Prawn Jalfrezi by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Clean prawns 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Ginger 1
  • Capsicum 1
  • Green chilies 3
  • Wooster shier sauce 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • All spice 1/4 tsp
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1/2 cup
  • Tamarind pinch
  • Black pepper 1 pinch
  • Mustard powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion slices.
  2. Now add ginger julienne, prawns, wooster shier sauce, ketchup, tamarind, chili powder, black pepper, mustard powder and vinegar and toast it nicely.
  3. In end, put long stripes green chilies, capsicum julienne and chopped tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add all spice and take it out.
