Stir Fried Liver In Chinese Style by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Chicken liver 1/2 kg
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Mushroom 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Green onion
  • Sliced capsicum 1
  • Sliced carrot 1
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • Chinese salt 1/3 tsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put chopped ginger, chopped garlic, soya sauce, vinegar, black pepper, brown sugar, honey and salt in one mixing bowl and mix it nicely.
  2. Then marinate chicken liver cubes and keep for a while.
  3. Now add onion in pan, fry it, add mushrooms and stir it.
  4. Now add marinated liver, mix it and fry it.
  5. Put remaining sauce and Chinese salt and mix it nicely.
  6. Now add sliced capsicum and sliced carrot, mix it and stir fry it.
  7. Then add water as required and cook it
  8. When liver is tendered, dish out it, garnish with green onion and serve.
