Matar Bhuna Zeera Rice by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Soaked rice 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1
  • Whole round chilies 10
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Matar (Peas) 1/2 kg
  • Bhuna zeera 2 tbsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. First, heat oil and do onion brown.
  2. Now put ginger garlic, whole round chilies, salt, turmeric and curry leaves and roast it.
  3. Then add 1 cup water and matar.
  4. After that, put soaked rice and cook it.
  5. When rice comes on simmer, put bhuna zeera, cover it for 10 minutes and mix it.
  6. Matar bhuna zeera is ready.
