Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tbsp
  • Coconut 1
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Peanuts 10
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chilies 4
  • Onions 2
  • Curry leaves few
  • Tamarind paste 1 cup
  • Rice 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Roast coriander seeds, white cumin, poppy seeds, coconut and peanuts on tawa and grind finely.
  2. Now wash mutton and put in pot. Together put finely chopped onion, ginger garlic paste, red chili, turmeric, salt and oil with 2 cup hot water and leave for cook.
  3. When meat tender, roast it lightly and put grinded masala. Together add 2 cup water, tamarind paste, curry leaves and green chilies.
  4. After that, drain out water of soaked rice and grind finely.
  5. Then mix some water, put in salan slowly slowly and stir it continuously.
  6. Now put chopped tomatoes and keep on simmer on low flame.
  7. After 10 minutes, gosht ki kadhi is ready. Serve with hot rice.
