Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Lemon juice 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 3 tsp

For Masala:

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Green Chilies 5
  • Jaggary 1 tsp
  • Onion paste 1 cup
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put lemon juice, salt and red chili chicken and leave it for 1 hour.
  2. To prepare masala: Heat oil, put sliced green chilies. When golden brown, put onion paste.
  3. Together add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, mustard paste and 1/2 tsp salt.
  4. Then put masala chicken.
  5. Now put jaggery in yogurt, beat it, add in chicken and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Murgh aatish is ready to serve.
