Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour 300 gm
  • Yeast 1 sachet
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Put yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, mix it nicely and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Now put flour, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl, mix it nicely and keep it aside.
  3. Now add yeast in flour mixture, knead soft dough, cover with plastic and leave on warm place for 1-2 hours.
  4. Now take out dough and fold with hands.
  5. Now roll small small roti and bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  6. Pita bread is ready.
