Jalfrezi Daal by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Boiled black lentil 250 gm
  • Capsicum 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Green chilies 6
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Tomato paste 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put ginger garlic and fry it.
  2. When fragrance comes, put tomato paste, red chili, turmeric and salt and roast it.
  3. Then put boiled black lentil.
  4. Put capsicum, tomato, onion, green chilies, yogurt, lemon juice, mustard paste and salt in second pan, mix it and spread on lentil.
  5. In end, put green coriander and keep on simmer for 10 minutes.
