Bhaati Daal by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Boiled white lentil 1 cup
  • Boiled gram lentil 1-1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 375 gm
  • Green chilies 10
  • Onion 2
  • Curry leaves 10
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Red chili 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin 2 tsp
  • Black peppercorn 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion 1

Method:

  1. Heat oil and do onion brown.
  2. Now put ginger garlic paste and tomatoes.
  3. Also put red chili, turmeric, salt, cumin, black peppercorn and chopped green chilies, cover it and cook on low flame for 30 minutes.
  4. When tomatoes tender, add boiled white lentil and boiled gram lentil and keep on simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Then sprinkle all spice powder and green coriander.
