Moroccan Meat Balls by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion 2
  • Egg 1
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Green coriander 1/2 cup
  • Olives 6
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp

For Spicy Tomato Sauce:

  • Boiled tomato paste 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic 2 tsp
  • Paprika powder 1 tsp
  • Fennel seed powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 2 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Mix all ingredients and grind it.
  2. Now make balls of it.
  3. For spicy tomato sauce: Heat oil and fry balls.
  4. Now put onion and do light soft onion.
  5. Then put balls, boiled tomato paste, paprika powder, fennel seeds powder, salt, saffron and red chili flakes and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  6. When sauce is thick, take out in dish and serve with rice.
