Cheese Samosa by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Samosa Patti:

  • Flour 300 gm
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Chicken boiled 300 gm
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Pizza sauce 5-6 tbsp
  • Crushed mozzarella cheese 150 gm
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Capsicum chopped 1
  • Tomato chopped 1
  • All purpose flour 2-3 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For patti: Put flour in mixing bowl. Then add ghee, salt and water as required, knead flour and leave it for a while.
  2. Then cut in round patti.
  3. For filling: Add boiled chicken, garlic paste, lemon juice, black pepper, pizza sauce, crushed mozzarella cheese, oregano, capsicum, tomato and salt in mixing bowl and mix it.
  4. Fill in patti.
  5. Dissolve flour in lukewarm water, make lai, paste on edges on patti and close it.
  6. Heat oil in pan, fry samosay and serve with sauce.
