Peshawari Karahi by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Meat 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onion 4
  • Chopped tomato 1/2
  • Yogurt beaten 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies 4-6
  • Chopped green coriander 2 tbsp
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Ghee or Oil 1/2 cup
  • Peshawari karahi masala 1 packet

Method:

  1. Heat ghee and fry onion on high flame for 5 minutes.
  2. Now add meat, tomato and karahi masala and roast for 5-6 minutes.
  3. Then put 1-2 cup water, cover it and cook on low flame until meat is tender.
  4. Then add butter and roast on high flame for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Now put green chilies, green coriander and yogurt and roast until masala leaves ghee.
  6. In end, serve karahi with hot hot naan.
