Sufaid Lobia Gosht by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Beef with bone 500 gm
  • Kidney beans 250 gm
  • Onion paste 1/2 cup
  • Garlic paste 3 tbsp
  • Almond paste 1/2 cup
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Cloves 4-5
  • Green cardamoms 4-5
  • Oil 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Almonds chopped for garnish

Method:

  1. Put cinnamon, cloves and green cardamoms in oil and crackle it.
  2. Now add beef and roast it nicely.
  3. When beef is roasted, put onion paste, ginger garlic paste, almond paste, black pepper, white pepper, turmeric powder and salt and roast it nicely.
  4. Now add 1 to 1-1/2 jug water and cook on low flame.
  5. When meat tender, strain it and separate garam masalay.
  6. Then put meat and stock again in pan, add kidney beans and cook until meat and beans are mixed.
  7. Shorba becomes thick, dish out it, garnish with almonds and serve hot.
