Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken 1
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Green chili paste 4 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Whole round chilies 10
  • Turmeric powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Chopped onions 1 cup
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Curry leaves 6

Method:

  1. Heat oil in handi, put round chilies and curry leaves and fry it.
  2. When fragrance comes, put onion and fry until light gold brown.
  3. Now add chicken and roast it little.
  4. Then put yogurt, cream, green chili paste, lemon juice, turmeric, cumin powder, salt and ginger garlic paste in pot, mix it, put in handi and leave for 30 minutes.
  5. When tender, put green coriander, chopped ginger and all spice powder.
  6. In end, close stove.
  7. Handi murgh is ready.
