Gajar Ka Achar by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Carrot 1 kg
  • Oil 1/2 kg
  • Garlic cloves 1 cup
  • Red pepper 1/2 cup
  • Crushed coriander seeds 1/2 cup
  • White vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Crushed mustard seeds 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put red pepper, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, onion seeds, turmeric, salt and mustard seeds in bowl.
  2. Now add vinegar and mix it nicely.
  3. Then put carrot and mix it.
  4. Then put 1 cup oil in jar and put masala mixed carrot.
  5. Now put garlic with remaining oil and mix it nicely.
  6. Use it after 2 days.
