Machli Ka Shorba by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Blue fish 1 kg
  • Yogurt 375 gm
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Fried onions 1 cup
  • Chopped ginger, Green chili as required
  • Bay leaves 1
  • Cardamom 6
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 6
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put yogurt and onion in grinder and grind it.
  2. Now heat oil and put curry leaves. When fragrance comes, add grinded masala.
  3. Then add bay leaves, cardamom, cumin, coriander, turmeric, salt, coconut and red chili powder and roast it nicely.
  4. Now put 2 cup water and cook it.
  5. When it boils, put fish.
  6. Then cook it for 10 minutes.
  7. In end, close stove and put ginger and green chili.
