Lemon Fried Wings by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Chicken wings 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Spring onion chopped to garnish

For Coating:

  • Flour 4 tbsp
  • Bread crumbs 1/2 cup
  • Garlic powder 1/2 tsp

For Lemon Sauce:

  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 1 tbsp
  • Yellow color 1 pinch
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Honey 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Ginger finely chopped 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken wings with salt, black pepper, ginger garlic paste, egg and corn flour for 1 hour.
  2. Now coat wings in flour and bread crumbs mixture.
  3. Then deep fry for 15 minutes till golden and crisp.
  4. For sauce: Put all ingredients in saucepan.
  5. Now cook until it is thick.
  6. Then put sauce on wings and serve it.
