Cheese & Chicken Pulao by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Cottage cheese 2 packet
  • Chicken (12 pieces) 1-1/2 kg
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion finely chopped 3
  • Whole black pepper 4
  • Cardamoms 4
  • Green chilies julienne 6
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Stock:

  • Garlic 1
  • Ginger 1
  • Onion whole 1
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water 4 cups

Method:

  1. Put chicken and stock ingredients and cook it.
  2. Now heat oil in pot, out onion, fry until golden brown and take out half onion.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, black pepper, cardamom and yogurt and in half onion, roast it lightly and put chicken.
  4. Then roast again for 2 minutes, put stock and salt and cover it.
  5. When water dries, keep pot on tawa and simmer it.
  6. Then heat some oil in frying pan, put cheese and green chilies and fry it.
  7. Then take out pulao in dish and put fried cheese and green chilies on top.
  8. Then out fried onion and serve hot.
