Ingredients:

  • Chicken (karahi pieces) 1 kg
  • Split Bengal gram 250 gm
  • Dry fenugreek seeds 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 10
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds chopped 1 tbsp
  • Black peppercorns 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste 1/2 kg
  • Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  • Ghee 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Heat ghee and put ginger garlic.
  2. When aroma comes, put chicken and roast it nicely.
  3. Then put tomato paste, fenugreek seeds, turmeric, salt, cumin, black peppercorns and red chili powder and roast it nicely.
  4. Then split gram and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. When water dries, put green chilies and garam masala and serve it.
