Thai Chicken Wings by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

For Frying Wings:

  • Wings 1/2 kg
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Corn flour 3/4 cup
  • Flour 1/4 cup

For Sauce:

  • Chili oil 1/4 cup
  • Fish sauce 1 tbsp
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Sweet sauce 1/2 cup
  • Dark soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 tbsp
  • Cumin (roasted & crushed) 1 tsp
  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • Chopped onion 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Coat wings with salt, corn flour and flour and deep fry on low flame for 15 minutes.
  2. For sauce: Heat oil and fry garlic and onion until soft.
  3. Now put fish sauce, sweet sauce, soya sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, cumin and tomato puree and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add wings in sauce and serve.
