Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1/2 kg
  • Shashlik sticks 4-6
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Mustard paste 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Onion 2
  • Tomato 2
  • Capsicum 2

For Sauce:

  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Ketchup 1 cup
  • Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
  • Garlic chopped 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped green chilies 1 tsp
  • Red food color 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Marinate chicken cubes with ginger garlic paste, mustard paste, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, vinegar, onion, tomato and capsicum, mix it and leave for 1 hour.
  2. Skew on skewers.
  3. Then heat oil in pan and fry it.
  4. For sauce: Put all ingredients in pot, cook it and take it out.

Shashlik is delicious & delightful dish. It is prepared with chicken & vegetables and served with sauce.
