Gutawa Keema by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Raw papaya 2 tbsp
  • Onion paste 1
  • Chopped onion 1
  • Bread slices 2
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed coriander 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg ground 1/4 tsp
  • Mace 1/4 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Roasted gram flour 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Marinate mince with all spice, raw papaya, onion paste, bread slices, ginger garlic, yogurt, salt, coriander, cumin, nutmeg, mace, gram flour and red pepper for 2-3 hours.
  2. Now heat 1/2 cup ghee in pan and fry chopped onion until light golden.
  3. Then add marinated mince, cover it and cook for 20 minutes.
  4. Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve with sheermal.

Gutawa Keema is tasty dish. It is other variety of mince dish. Shireen Anwer has made it with her own technique.
