Ingredients:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Caster sugar 4 oz
  • Sugar 4 oz
  • Dry milk 4 tsp
  • Milk 2 tsp
  • Flour 4 oz
  • Semolina 4 oz
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Milk 1 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Beat butter with caster sugar and sugar for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Now put 2 tsp milk.
  3. Then add dry milk, strained flour, baking powder, semolina and baking soda, make dough and keep in fridge for 30 minutes.
  4. Then sprinkle flour on dough and roll it.
  5. Cut with round cutter, keep on un-greased tray and brush with egg & 1 tsp milk mixture.
  6. Then sprinkle poppy seeds and fennel seeds and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Tabarak Ki Roti is new variety of roti. It is prepared with flour & semolina and baked in oven.
