Chicken Porridge

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken breast 2
  • Oats 1 cup
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Bay leaves 3
  • Finely chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Crushed garlic 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped green chilies 2
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander sprigs 6-8
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Egg whites 2

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, add cumin, bay leaves, ginger and garlic and saute for 1 minute.
  2. Now add green chilies and chicken pieces and mix it nicely.
  3. Then add oats, turmeric, red chili powder, black pepper powder and salt and mix it nicely.
  4. Then add 2 cups water, cook it nicely and cook until chicken is ready.
  5. Now add coriander sprigs.
  6. Then add brown onion, butter and lemon juice in pan and mix it nicely.
  7. Now add coriander leaves and mix it nicely.
  8. Then egg whites, mix it nicely and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Now put porridge in serving bowl, garnish with brown onion and serve hot.

Chicken Porridge is delicious dish. It is new variety of chicken. You must try this new dish at home.
