Palak Paneer Recipe

  • Spinach 1 kg
  • Cottage cheese 2 packet
  • Milk pack cream 1 packet
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4

For Garnish:

  • Butter 2-3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Ginger 1/2 inch


  1. Boil spinach, strain water, put in blender and blend it.
  2. Then put onion in cooking pot, fry it, add ginger garlic paste and until golden brown.
  3. Then add salt, red chili powder, black pepper, turmeric, all spice powder and cumin and make masala for spinach.
  4. Now add blended spinach gravy, mix it nicely, add cream and cook on high flame for 2 minutes.
  5. Then fry cheese and green chilies in oil until golden brown and add in spinach gravy.
  6. Then garnish with butter, coriander leaves and ginger and serve with naan.

Palak Paneer is famous Punjabi, Indian dish. It is delicious dish. It is prepared with spinach boiled & blended. Then mixed with cream, cheese & green chilies. Then garnished with butter and served with hot naan. You must try this recipe for change.
