Egg Fried Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Basmati rice 2 cups
  • Egg whites 6
  • Spring onion 3 slices
  • Carrots chopped 2
  • Capsicum chopped 2
  • Boiled potatoes cubes 2
  • Salt 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped1 tbsp
  • Oil 6 tbsp

Direction:

  1. Soak rice in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil water in large pot.
  3. Add 1 tbsp salt and soaked rice and stir it frequently.
  4. When just cooked, drain and rinse with cold water.
  5. Then heat oil in separate pan and fry garlic for 1 minute.
  6. Then add carrots, capsicum, potatoes and rice.
  7. Cook on high flame for 2 minutes.
  8. Then put salt and spring onion and cook for 1 minute.
  9. Then beat egg whites and stir in separate pan and cook for 2 minutes.
  10. Mix egg mixture in rice, stir it and cook for 5 minutes.
  11. Then take out in dish and serve with raita.

Egg Fried Rice is Chinese stir-fried dish. Rice is cooked with vegetables. Then mixed with fried eggs and cooked again. Served with raita. You can add more ingredients as per required. It is simple and easy recipe to make it at any time.
