Buttery Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package semi sweet chocolate chips

Method:

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, sugars, vanilla essence and eggs using a spoon.
  3. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Then add in chocolate chips.
  4. Drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto a non-greased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake 12-15 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly and serve.
