Ingredients For Daal Samosa:

  • Yellow lentil  250 gm
  • Samosa strips  15 to 20
  • Chopped onion  2
  • Black pepper  1 tsp
  • Red chili crushed  1 tbsp
  • All spice powder  1 tsp
  • Cumin powder  1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder  1 tsp
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Green chili 3-4
  • Oil  for fry
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First wash the yellow lentils and keep them in water.
  2. Then filter it drain its water.
  3. Now put peeled lentils. chopped black pepper, chopped red chilies, chopped garam masala, chopped cumin, ginger garlic paste, chopped turmeric, chopped green coriander, green chilies, salt roast it well.
  4. Then pour water boil it hard, when the water dries then cool it well.
  5. Now fill the mixture into samosa strips.
  6. Pour oil in pan, add samosa strips deep fry them.
  7. In the end add salad leaves, onions, chutney and then serve.

Ingredients For Rangoli Dahi Baray:

For Baray:

  • White lentil  1/2 kg
  • Garlic paste  1 tsp
  • Cumin powder  1 tsp
  • Baking powder  1/3 tsp
  • Oil  for fry
  • Salt to taste

For Masala:

  • Whole red chili  5 to 6
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Whole cumin  1 tbsp
  • Black salt  1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste

For Green Chutney:

  • Tamarind paste  1/2 cup
  • Mint  1 bunch
  • Green chilies  5 to 6
  • Salt  to taste

For Red Chutney:

  • Tomato paste  1/2 cup
  • Garlic  3 to 4 cloves
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt  to taste

For Yellow Chutney:

  • Mayonnaise  1/3 cup
  • Black pepper  1 tsp
  • Mustard paste  2 tbsp
  • Cream 1/3 tsp
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp

For Garnishing:

  • Yogurt  1/2 kg
  • Chat masala  1 tsp
  • Papri  as required

Method:

  1. First put the white lentil in water and add baking soda leave them for whole night.
  2. Then grind them, add garlic paste, chopped cumin, salt mix it well.
  3. Pour oil in a pan, pour oil in hands.
  4. Beat it and make pakora place them in a plate.
  5. Baray are ready.
  6. For making masala of dahi baray masala: Add whole red chilies, black pepper, whole cumin, salt, grind them well.
  7. Masala is ready.
  8. For making green chutney: Add tamarind paste, mint, green chilies, salt grind them well. Green chutney is ready.
  9. For red chutney: Add garlic cloves, tomato paste, red chilies, salt make a paste with the help of blender. Red chutney is ready.
  10. For making yellow chutney: Take a bowl add mustard, mayonnaise, cream, lemon juice, black pepper pour water mix it well. Yellow chutney is ready.
  11. Now pour yogurt in a pan, beat it well.
  12. Now put the baray.
  13. Put remaining yogurt on its top, put red, yellow, green chutney and dahi baray masalay, garnish it with papri and sprinkle some chat masala on its top.
  14. Rangoli dahi baray are ready to eat.
