Ingredients For Aab Chicken (Thal)

  • Whole chicken  1
  • Fried onion  1 cup
  • Yogurt  250 gm
  • Whole gourd 1
  • Bay leaf  2
  • Clove  4
  • Green chilies 10
  • Turmeric  1 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste  1 tbsp
  • Green coriander  1/2 bunch
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Water  4 glass

Method:

  1. First add fried onions, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, turmeric blend it well.
  2. Now pour oil add masala, whole chicken, curry leaves, chopped black pepper and cloves roast it well.
  3. Then pour water add whole gourd, cook it on a low temperature.
  4. Turn off the stove then add green coriander then serve.

Ingredients For Jalfrezi Daal:

  • Whole black lentils 250 gm
  • Capsicum 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Green chili  6
  • Yogurt  1/2 cup
  • Oil  1/2 cup
  • Chopped tomatoes 1 cup
  • Lemon juice  2 tbsp
  • Mustard paste 1 tsp
  • Salt  1 tsp
  • Turmeric  1 tsp
  • Green coriander  1/2 bunch
  • Garlic ginger  1 tbsp
  • Red chili  1 tsp

Method:

  1. Pour oil in the pan add ginger garlic for frying, then add tomato, red chili, turmeric, salt and roast it.
  2. After that add boiled whole black lentils.
  3. Add capsicum, tomatoes, onion, green chilies, yogurt, add lemon juice, mustard paste, salt and spread it on lentils.
  4. Add green coriander and simmer it on 10 minutes.
