Ingredients for Chicken Saji:

  • Chicken with skin 1
  • Oil 3-4 tbsp
  • Whole garlic 1
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Butter 1/2 cup

For Saji Masala:

  • Fennel 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Small cardamom 4-5
  • Khatai powder 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Prak chicken nicely. Then marinate with garlic, salt, oil, vinegar and lemon juice and leave whole night.
  2. Bake in oven for 2 to 2-1/2 hours in slow temperature in oven.
  3. When chicken is tender, paste butter and sprinkle saji masala.
  4. Keep again in oven.
  5. Serve with yellow rice.
