Prawn Biryani by Chef Samina

Ingredients for Prawn Biryani:

  • Prawn 1 kg
  • Rice 750 gm
  • Coconut milk 1-1/2 cup
  • Tomato 1 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Whole mix spice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Soya 2 bunch
  • Onion 2
  • Green chili 10-125
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion.
  2. Then put finger garlic paste, salt, chili, turmeric and tomato and roast it.
  3. Now add prawns and cook for a while.
  4. Mix lemon juice, cut soya and add in it.
  5. Together mix green chilies and coconut milk.
  6. Put salt and all spice powder in rice and boil it.
  7. Put rice in one pot, add prawn mixture and put rice again.
  8. Put prawn mixture and some oil on top.
  9. In end, add yellow color and keep on simmer.
  10. When ready, serve hot.
