Ingredients for Dhokla:

  • Rice flour 200 gm
  • Gram flour 3/4 cup
  • Khatti lassi 3 cup
  • Meetha soda 2 pinch
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Crushed green chili 1-1/2 tbsp
  • Ginger powder 1 tbsp
  • Asafetida 1 pinch
  • Raw coconut 4 tbsp
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch

For Bhagar:

  • Curry leaves few
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Asafetida 1 pinch
  • Green chili 1-2

For Chutney:

  • Roasted chickpea 1 tbsp
  • Roasted peanut 1 tbsp
  • Coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Green chili 1
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix rice flour and gram flour, beat with lassi  and leave for 6-8 hours.
  2. When yeast comes, mix salt, crushed green chili, ginger, turmeric, asafetida and soda.
  3. Now put in grease pan and cook it.
  4. In end, give bhagar.
  5. Garnish with coriander and raw coconut.
  6. Serve with chutney.
  7. For Chutney: Put all ingredients in blender and blend it nicely.
