  • White flour 2 cup
  • Semolina 1/2 cup

For Water:

  • Crushed red chili 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • Dry ginger 1 tsp
  • Tamarind juice 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp
  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Boiled potato 1
  • Water as required


  1. Put semolina in flour and knead medium hard with water,
  2. Then cover with wet cloth and leave it.
  3. Now roll thick roti, cut round with cutter and deep fry it.
  4. For Water: Put water in pot and add crushed red chili, salt, dry ginger, tamarind juice, cumin powder, salt and chaat masala.
  5. Now break gol gappy form center. Then fill with chickpeas and potato and serve with water.
