Beef Jalfrezi by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Undercut beef 1/2 kg
  • Tomato sauce 1/2 cup
  • Tomato paste 1 cup
  • Small cauliflower 1
  • Onion 1
  • Chopped capsicum 2
  • Chopped carrots 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Jaggery 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First mash undercut beef parchay lightly. Now marinate it with 1 tbsp soya sauce, salt, 1 tbsp vinegar, red chili flakes and ginger garlic paste for 10 minutes.
  2. Then heat oil in a karahi, put masala meat and stir fry it.
  3. When water dries, add tomato paste, tomato sauce and jaggery.
  4. After that, in another pan, put capsicum cubes, chopped carrot, cauliflower, green chilies and onion, stir fry it and and meat.
  5. In end, put 1 tbsp soya sauce, 1 tbsp vinegar, cumin powder and black pepper and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Now serve delicious beef jalfrezi with plain rice.
