Ingredients:

  • Chopped chilies 2 tsp
  • Boiled potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 4 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Salt 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Put sugar, water and oil in yogurt and beat it nicely.
  2. Now put in pot, cook it and stir it continuously.
  3. When water dries and oil comes up, add tomatoes.
  4. After that, put chopped chilies, vinegar, mustard seeds, onion seeds, fennel seeds, salt, chopped ginger and all spice powder and roast it.
  5. Now add 2 cup water and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.
  6. In end, put chopped garlic and vinegar.
  7. Khata aloo gravy is ready.
