Classic Potato Tortilla by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Eggs 6
  • Paprika powder 1 tsp
  • Red pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Mozzarella cheese 100 gm
  • Parsley/green coriander ½ bunch
  • Oil 2 to 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. First cut potatoes and onion in round slices.
  2. Heat oil, fry garlic paste, potatoes and onion and take out.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs, salt, paprika powder and black pepper.
  4. Then add potatoes and onion in the mixture.
  5. Put remaining oil in pan and spread mixture.
  6. When it cooks from one side, flip it carefully.
  7. When cooked from both side, take and keep on baking tray top.
  8. Sprinkle red pepper and mozzarella cheese on top, bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C, dish it out, cut in slice, garnish with green coriander and serve.
