Rice Salad by Rida Aftab in Tarka

Ingredients:

  • Boiled rice 1 cup
  • Boiled chickpeas 1 cup
  • Salad leaves 1 cup
  • Carrot 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Onion 1
  • Cucumber 1
  • Green coriander as required
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat butter and fry rice until crispy.
  2. Then take out rice and fry boiled chickpeas.
  3. Cut carrot, tomato, onion, salad leaves, green coriander and cucumber in pan.
  4. Now also add rice and chickpeas.
  5. Put black pepper, salt and lemon juice on top and toast it.
  6. Rice salad is ready.
