Ingredients:

  • Long green bottle gourd 1 kg
  • Fresh milk 1 liter
  • Cardamom 8
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Chopped pistachio 15
  • Chopped almonds 15
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 bowl
  • Condensed milk 1 tin

Method:

  1. Grind cardamom with sugar.
  2. Now peel bottle gourd, grate it and dry in its own water.
  3. Then put sugar and cardamom in fresh milk and cook it.
  4. When sugar dissolves, put boiled bottle gourd in chalni and drain more water by pressing it.
  5. Then add in milk.
  6. When all ingredients becomes one, dissolve corn flour in some cold milk and add in it.
  7. When kheer becomes thick, remove it, cool it, put in mud bowl and add khoya and condensed milk.
  8. Then decorate with chopped almonds and chopped pistachio. Put grated coconut if you want.
  9. Lauki ki kheer is ready.
