Ingredients:

  • Rice 5 tbsp
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Sugar 8 tbsp
  • Rose syrup 3 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Pistachios 10-12

Method:

  1. Soak rice for 1 hour.
  2. Drain water completely.
  3. Grind soaked rice to slightly coarse paste, add few spoons of milk if needed while blending.
  4. Add 1/2 cup milk t ground rice and keep aside.
  5. Boil remaining milk in pan.
  6. Once milk starts boiling, reduce flame to low and add ground rice paste. Keep stirring to avoid lumps.
  7. Add sugar and cardamom powder and cook it on a low flame till it turns thickens like custard.
  8. Take it off stove and add rose syrup, mix properly and refrigerate for a few hours.
  9. Serve chilled topped with sliced pistachios.
