Ingredients:

For Prawns:

  • Prawns 1/2 kg
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chicken cube flour 1 tbsp
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Oil to fry
  • Salt to taste

For Sauce:

  • Tomato sauce 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 6 cloves
  • Sesame seed oil few drops
  • Jaggery 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Pineapple juice 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Vegetables:

  • Cauliflower 1
  • Capsicum 3
  • Onions 3
  • Pineapple cubes 6
  • Soya sauce 1 tsp
  • White vinegar 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • White pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix prawns, corn flour, chicken cube flour, eggs, salt and sugar in bowl and beat it nicely.
  2. Then dip each prawn in this mixture, deep fry in hot oil until golden, take it out and keep on paper so that oil is absorbed.
  3. Mix all sauce ingredients in bowl and make thick sauce on low flame stirring continuously with wooden spoon.
  4. Now heat oil in wok (karahi pan) and put capsicum, cauliflower and onions.
  5. Then stir fast on high flame, put vinegar, soya sauce, white pepper, salt and sugar and close stove.
  6. In end, mix prawns, sauce and vegetables and heat it.
  7. Sweet & sour prawns are ready.
