Murgh Cholay by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Chicken (Pieces) 1 kg
  • Boiled eggs 4
  • Boiled chickpeas 375 gm
  • Fried onions 2
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies 6
  • Whole black pepper 1 tsp
  • Small cardamoms 4
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Green coriander as required
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger 50 gm

Method:

  1. Put onions and tomatoes in blender and blend it.
  2. Now heat oil, put chicken and ginger garlic and roast it nicely.
  3. Then add grinded onion and tomatoes.
  4. Also put black pepper, small cardamom, turmeric, salt, red chili powder and cumin and roast it nicely.
  5. Then put 2 cup water and cook for 30 minutes.
  6. Then put chickpeas and cook more for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Now put all spice powder, boiled eggs, green coriander, green chilies and chopped ginger and close stove.
  8. Murgh cholay is ready.
