Aloo Chutney Kabab by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes boiled 1/2 kg
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Coconut powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 8
  • Pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 4 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Mint leaves few
  • Dry mango grated 1 cup

For Coating:

  • Corn flour 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilies 1 tsp
  • Water 1 cup
  • Oil for frying

Method:

  1. Grind cumin, coriander, coconut, green chilies, tamarind pulp, dry mango, pomegranate seeds, onion, green coriander and mint leaves thick chutney in chopper.
  2. Now mix in potatoes and make small kabab.
  3. Then add corn flour, gram flour, carom seed, red chilies, salt and water in bowl and mix it.
  4. Then dip kabab in this mixture, heat oil in frying pan and shallow fry kabab.
