Ingredients:

  • Black chickpeas 1/2 kg
  • Soda bi carb 1 tsp
  • Potatoes peeled 3
  • Crushed red pepper 2 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 1/2 cup
  • Gram flour 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed cumin 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 10-12
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. Soak chickpeas in soda overnight and then boil it.
  2. Now heat oil, put curry leaves, onion and tomato and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Now add salt, red pepper, cumin, tamarind pulp and gram flour and fry with 1/2 cup nicely.
  4. Then put boiled chickpeas and potatoes and fry for 10 minutes.
  5. Then add coriander leaves.
