Cream Karahi by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 2 kg
  • Oil as required
  • Butter 300 ml
  • Ginger 2 tsp
  • Ginger (Juline cut) 2 tbsp
  • Tomato 1/2 kg
  • Milk Pack Yogurt 250 gm
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 2 tsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
  • Milk Pack cream 1 packet

For Garnish:

  • Green Chili as required
  • Coriander as required

Method:

  1. Half fry chicken in hot oil, add ginger, cook for 2-3 minutes, add tomato and cook until ginger tender.
  2. When tomato becomes soft, add yogurt, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala and ginger (Juline cut) and cook on medium flame.
  3. When water dries, sprinkle garam masala, add cream and cook 1 minute on high flame.
  4. Then garnish with green chili and coriander and serve hot.
